Christmas Time Lapse – Short Film

January 3, 2010 by matt 12 Comments

Last year was Autumn’s first Christmas. But at three months, I think the sights, sounds and smells of the season come off more like a heavy acid trip than a time of joy and celebration. This year she was aware of the celebration, and it was so much fun to include her in the ritual of the season. Also, we simply know her much better than we did a year ago. We decided to try something different to record the celebration: a time-lapse video of Christmas morning and some preparations from the night before. It allowed us to enjoy each other without being stuck behind a camera. This might become a tradition.

May not be 100% appropriate for Santa’s faithful.

This absolutely needs to become a family tradition — No question about it !! !! Awesome photography staring my three all time favorite actors. I remember well the Christmas times with Jody and Brian when I didn’t get to bed until the wee hours of the morning — assembling the toys with the instructions “some assembly required”.

    Love ya, DAD and Grandpa

So cute and agreed…so Pritchard! Eric and I just watched and both agreed how cool it would be to do that each year…the kids would love to look back on it. Start the tradition, great job!

That was the coolest thing I have EVER seen! All the better since I know (most of) the cast of characters.
