Somebody call Santa Claus and give him our thanks. We’re very happy to introduce our son, Carson Grant Pritchard. He was born this morning at 11:40 a.m. at Kaiser Hospital in San Francisco. The labor was relatively short, but intense. Everyone is happy, healthy and exhausted.
He was born naturally, just like his big sister. Speaking of Autumn, she met her brother tonight and concluded that he is “…a little bit scary.” Fair enough.

He is perfect. Just like his big sister. We are blessed!

Dear Jody and Matt: Bill called today with all the details of little Carson’s arrival. He is such a beautiful baby, and I am so happy and proud to be Nana to another wonderful addition to our family. He looks perfect in every respect, and I can hardly wait to see him and hold him in my arms. Although Jody’s labor was rough, I am happy it was not too prolonged and she was able to have a normal birth. Congratulations and love to both of you. Nana

Congratulations to both of you !! Carson is simply awesome and what a great name! Little Autumn will never forget her first look at her little brother – just a few hours after his birth. My thanks to all that lent a helping hand today and a special thanks to Matt for keeping us informed (text messaging) throughout the day. We have truly been blessed with the most precious gift imaginable.

It’s hard to put into words how remarkable and beautiful your new little son is….we just know – beyond any doubt – that he is incredibly lucky to have such amazing parents, family, and friends.
